Project 2019 is proud to be participating in various Black History Month activities
and events. However, what makes Black History Month special is the knowledge that
Project 2019 is not just celebrating black history -- Project 2019 is in the process
of "making" black history. We must understand that only by reaching
educational parity will we get to where we need to be -- and only Project 2019
can lead the way.
If you have not already done so, check out the following Black History Month article,
written by Charles Sanford, author of "Project 2019." The article
is another interesting and informative look at who black Americans are -- and
why they are the people they are today.

Black History Month is a special time for Project 2019 supporters. There are,
of course, the activities and the events that celebrate black history. However,
the true joy of Black History Month is the knowledge that Project 2019 is in
the process of 'making" black history. We should all take the time to reflect
on how far we have come -- but also how much further we have to go -- and we
must understand that only by reaching educational parity will we get to where
we need to be. And we must, as a people, get there together.
If you or your organization would like to schedule a Project 2019 seminar,
activity, or other event, please let us know as early as possible prior to date
you are requesting. Charles Sanford, the author of "Project 2019,"
and other Project 2019 representatives are still available for some dates during
Black History Month.
